How installation works
Photo survey & fixed quote
Send a few photos of your fuse board and parking spot through the quote form. You get a fixed, fully-fitted price. Most installs need no home visit first.
Installation day
Most home installs take 3–4 hours. We route the cabling neatly, fit and commission the charger, and leave everything tested and tidy.
Handover & certification
We set up the app, pair your energy tariff and hand over your certificates. We notify the DNO and claim any grant on your behalf.

How much does EV charger installation cost?
A 7kW smart home charger costs £916–£1,142 fully fitted, depending on the charger you choose. Our quotes are fixed prices that include the charger, all cabling up to 10 metres, installation, certification and DNO notification. Nothing is added on the day.
Can any electrician install an EV charger?
Legally an electrician can, but EV charge points need specific training, PEN-fault protection knowledge and DNO notification. We are OZEV-approved EV specialists. That approval is what makes your installation grant-eligible and keeps your charger warranty valid.
Do I qualify for the £350 EV chargepoint grant?
If you rent your home, own a flat, or don’t have off-street parking, you may qualify for the government EV chargepoint grant of up to £350. Cross-pavement funding schemes are also available. We check your eligibility and claim the grant for you as part of the quote.
Can schools get grants for EV chargers?
Yes. State-funded schools can claim a Workplace Charging Scheme grant of up to £2,000 per socket, for up to 40 sockets. That is four times the standard business rate. We check your school’s eligibility and handle the application as part of the quote.
Should I choose a 3kW or 7kW home charger?
A 7kW charger is the right choice for almost every home. It fully charges a typical EV overnight, around three times faster than a 3-pin plug. 22kW chargers need a three-phase supply, which most UK homes don’t have. We confirm what your supply can support during the photo survey.
