Commercial EV charging for every kind of site

The same engineers who fit single home chargers design and build multi-point commercial systems. These are the sites we work on most.

Workplaces & offices

Staff charging that fills cars during the working day, with access controlled by app or fob and the WCS grant taking £500 off every socket.

Car parks & customer sites

Destination charging for shops, hotels, holiday lets and visitor attractions. Charging bays bring EV drivers to you and keep them on site longer.

Fleets & depots

Overnight depot charging for vans and pool cars, with load management that shares the supply so every vehicle is ready by morning.

Designed for how your site actually runs

Load management

Chargers share your existing supply intelligently, so a bank of charge points runs without an expensive supply upgrade.

Three-phase and new supplies

Where your site does need more power, we design for it and handle the DNO application to Northern Powergrid ourselves.

Expansion-ready cabling

We size cabling and containment for the chargers you'll want in three years, not just the ones you're buying today.

Access and payment options

Free for staff, fob-controlled, or paid public access with contactless: the chargers we fit support all three models.

Commercial EV charging questions

What grants can businesses get for EV chargers?

The Workplace Charging Scheme gives eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations £500 per charge point socket, for up to 40 sockets per site. We check your eligibility and submit the application as part of your quote, so the grant is already deducted from the price you approve.

How many charge points does my business need?

A useful rule of thumb is one socket for every one or two EV drivers who park all day, because a full working day is plenty for a complete charge. The site survey looks at your parking, staff vehicles and future plans, and we design cabling so adding more chargers later is cheap.

Does my site need a three-phase supply?

Not always. A pair of 7kW chargers runs happily on many single-phase supplies with load management. Larger banks of chargers usually want three-phase, and where an upgrade is needed we handle the application to Northern Powergrid for you.

How long does a commercial EV charging installation take?

A two-charger workplace installation is typically done in a day. Larger projects with groundworks or supply upgrades run longer, and your fixed quote comes with a programme so you know exactly what happens when. We schedule the disruptive parts around your working hours.

Can we charge staff or visitors to use the chargers?

Yes. The chargers we fit support free access, staff-only access via app or fob, and paid public charging with contactless payment. Many businesses start free for staff and add payment later; we set up whichever model you choose at handover.

Can I claim the WCS grant if I run my business from home?

Often, yes. Sole traders, limited company directors and partners working from home can claim the £500 Workplace Charging Scheme grant for a charger on their own driveway, provided the home is registered as the primary place of business with Companies House or on a non-domestic rates bill, the property has dedicated off-street parking, and the charger model is OZEV-approved for commercial use. We check all three and pick a qualifying charger with you.

Who maintains the chargers after installation?

We do. Every installation carries our 5-year workmanship warranty alongside the manufacturer warranty on the chargers themselves, and any question afterwards goes to the same local number that booked you in.
